NZ Dogs

For the first few years of Cherry's life she was chained up 24/7, beaten and starved. With the stigma around pitbulls already, some would say she was destined to be putdown with that start to life. But that simply wasn't the case with Cherry. She is now the most perfect family dog, and loves dogs big or small, but most of all, she loves people.

When Ozzy was adopted, he was confined to a crate far to small for him, and was forced to live in his own urine and faeces. His wool was far overgrown and matted. Now Ozzy is the most confident and easy going little dog, who befriends everyone he meets, despite the mistrust of humans he had when first adopted.

Missy has spent the first 2 years of her life bouncing around a total of 4 different families due to her constant barking. Missy is now starting to settle in and her constant yapping is slowly improving day by day. She is a very intelligent and affectionate dog, who is slowly coming to be a lovely family dog.

I have grown up with dogs all my life, with most of them being rescue dogs. It has been a joy to be able to witness dogs who nobody gave a chance get rehabilitated and become wonderful family dogs. Our goal is to spread awareness about how great of a dog you can get by rescuing. That is why we are a proud 2025 SPCA business supporter. Eisen is an American Bandogge which I raised from a pup, who is the most goofy and loyal dog you could ask for.
